Why MKG Healthcare?

With collective experience of over 50 years within the UK healthcare industry, our small yet dedicated team understands the standards required for working in the UK.

We have worked directly within the NHS, including community and hospital settings, held senior roles, and managed large-scale recruitment campaigns for the NHS and private entities.

The healthcare sector in the UK is facing an acute shortage of nurses, with projections suggesting that the demand will exceed domestic supply by 2025. In parallel, our international recruiting campaigns and networks demonstrate that countries like India and Philippines have a surplus of nursing professionals who are keen to work overseas due to better job prospects.

Our goal is to bridge the increasing gap in the UK by supporting aspirational nurses /carers and UK based employers

Services we can provide:

  1. Sourcing: Through our networks and overseas recruitment campaigns, we continue to source a pool of qualified nurses and carers
  2. Pre-screening: We thoroughly vet and assess potential candidates to ensure they meet the UK’s healthcare standards. This includes assessing their language skills, clinical competence, and cultural adaptability.
  3. Supporting documentation: We can support our clients with necessary paperwork, including collecting and verifying certifications, and completion of language tests, to facilitate a smooth process for placements in the UK.
  4. Candidate support: The transition from overseas to the UK is a complex journey, therefore we provide continuous coaching and support to both candidates and clients to ensure successful outcomes. Most importantly, this will ensure they are well-prepared to adapt to the new work environment and understand the UK’s healthcare system.
